What: LISTA and Microsoft Windows Vista announced the launch of the Vida Digital Latina (VDL) campaign to promote computer literacy among Hispanics. Microsoft Corp. has joined forces with the Latinos in Information Science and Technology Association (LISTA), an organization founded to address the digital divide among Latino communities acrosss the country.
The free, Spanish language class will include local Vista Ambassadors and technology experts. Together, they will share their expertise and personal stories on the benefits of integrating technology and MS Vista into their daily lives. Jose Marquez President/CEO of LISTA and Technology expert and The Latino Cyber Guy, Jose Ulloa, will lead the educational seminar at the Los Angeles Public Library and will also discuss the online family safety features that Vista offers.
